This course is ideal for carers in the Aged Care industry who have have acquired their Cert III in Aged Care Work, but it is to complete the 2 elective units: CHCCS303A Provide Physical Assistance with medication and CHCCS302A Assist with self medication. These units cover the skills and knowledge required by care workers to distribute and administer prescribed medication within a facility under supervision and to assist clients to self-medicate in a home or community centre, in accordance with relevant legislation and industry standards and guidelines.
