So you know how your digital camera works and you can take a pretty good photo. Now it’s time to learn some photo manipulation. We will use Photoshop Elements with references to Photoshop CS and the free program GIMP and Paint.net. By working on the three projects, a Panorama, an informal and formal collage, and the designing of a front cover for a fictitious magazine, you will be exposed to many skills, concepts, and methods along the way such as: open/close, cut/paste, cropping, stitching, scaling, distorting, blending, colour adjustments, opacity, layers, selection tools and more. This course presumes you have a workable level of computer skills. Students need to bring a 2GB flash drive. |

This Program edits, enhances and organises your photos in a user friendly environment. Value for money, this program is considered one of the best. We will learn about the program’s windows and menus, basic editing and enhancements, and delve into the organising of our photos using the tagging system. We will then develop a slide show of selected photos and output this to a CD playable on your TV. This course is designed especially for Photoshop Elements and is completely different to the Adobe Photoshop Course. Students need to bring a 2GB flash drive.
